I. Equipment Requirements:
Chemical oxygen demand (COD) is a mandatory test item for surface water, industrial wastewater, and domestic sewage. It is an important indicator reflecting the pollution status of water by oxygen-consuming substances and is also one of the key indicators for national total emission control. The "Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand in Water - Dichromate Method" (HJ828-2017) is currently recognized as a relatively accurate and reliable test method. However, the reflux digestion process of water samples is a process that requires strict control of temperature and time; improper control can lead to biased analytical results.
Our company has extensively solicited user feedback and developed this instrument in accordance with the HJ828-2017 method. It utilizes a temperature-controlled electric heater instead of a high-power electric furnace, employs air and water cooling, and features automatic temperature control, a 120-minute automatic countdown during the gentle boiling phase, and automatic shutdown upon completion of digestion. These technologies ensure that the operation method aligns with the national standard method, enabling one-button operation, automatic digestion, energy saving, and simple and convenient use. Furthermore, it avoids the technical disputes arising from non-national standard COD measurement methods.
ⅡInstrument requirements:
★ 1. The instrument design is fully in accordance with the national standard HJ828-2017 "Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand in Water - Dichromate Method", ensuring precise temperature control, thorough digestion, and good parallelism;
★ 2. Multi-throughput sample channels, each with constant heating, ensuring thermal stability and preventing interference between channels ;
3. Corrosion and high temperature resistance, radiation-absorbing microcrystalline carbon fiber, and long service life.
4. Intelligent touchscreen control, security monitoring, unattended operation.
5. The triangular conical digestion flask allows for direct titration without the need for pipetting, resulting in high efficiency.
